Game Introduction

Ready for a brain-bending challenge? If you enjoy Sudoku, then Islands in the Stream is the perfect game for you!

This logic puzzle presents a unique twist on classic grid-based gameplay. The objective is to color each grid either blue or white, adhering to these rules:

Each number indicates the size of its corresponding island (the number of connected cells of the same color).
Every island must contain exactly one numbered grid.
Only one continuous stream (of uncolored cells) is permitted, and this stream cannot contain any 2x2 blocks of uncolored cells.

Game Highlights:

Variety: Enjoy 3 different puzzle sizes.
Progression Tracking: Track your best completion times for each level.
Helpful Visual Cues: Numbers are highlighted when the number of colored grids matches the indicated number. 2x2 potential "pools" are also highlighted.
Assistance: A "Hint" feature identifies incomplete islands.
Time-Based Challenge: Test your skills against the clock and aim for a high puzzle completion rate.
