Game Introduction

Hez2, a popular Moroccan card game, brings classic family fun home. This turn-based game supports up to four players. A player's turn involves playing a card matching the color/suit or number/rank of the previously played card. If a player has no matching card, they draw one from the deck. Even with a playable card, a player may choose to draw instead. The goal is to empty your hand.

Special Cards:

2: Playing a two forces the next player to draw two cards. If they also have a two, they can choose to draw two or play it, forcing the next player to draw four, and so on, until a player without a two draws the cumulative total.
7: Allows the player to change the required suit/color for the next card played.
10: The player must play again immediately. If a ten is their last card, they must draw a card.
12: (3 or 4 players only) Skips the next player's turn.

The game ends when a player plays their last card (with some special rules for twos and tens), and that player wins.

Hez2 uses a 40-card deck with four suits: 10 Copas (Tbaye9), 10 Espadas (Syouf), 10 Oros (D'hab), and 10 Bastos (Zrawéte), each numbered 1-7, 10-12.
