Alors que 2024 le conclut, Niantic célèbre l'arrivée de 2025 à Pokémon Go avec un événement spécial du Nouvel An, suivi de l'événement Ficough Fetch et de la très attendue Journée communautaire de Sprigatito.
Le coup d'envoi de la nouvelle année est l'accès aux œufs, un événement rémunéré qui se déroule tout au long de janvier dans le cadre de la saison double destins. Disponible pour 4,99 $, cela déverrouille de nombreux avantages en jeu pour améliorer votre expérience de capture Pokémon jusqu'au 31 janvier. Cela comprend une mise à niveau importante du système de cadeaux, vous permettant de tenir jusqu'à 40 cadeaux, d'ouvrir 50 par jour et de collecter 150 sur des disques photo.

L'événement du Nouvel An en 2025 à Pokémon Go se déroule du 30 décembre 2024, de 10h00 au 1er janvier 2025, à 20h00. Bien qu'il n'y ait pas de nouveaux Pokémon, de variantes brillantes ou de costumes cette année, il y a encore beaucoup de plaisir festif.
Attendez-vous à une augmentation des apparitions sauvages de Jigglypuff (avec un ruban), du hoothoot (dans une tenue du Nouvel An) et de Wurmple (dans un chapeau de fête), le tout avec des taux brillants stimulants. Les bonus d'événements incluent un généreux 2 025 XP pour d'excellents lancers et feux d'artifice de fête.RAIDS présentera Pikachu arborant un bonnet de flocon de neige (niveau un), et Raticate et Wobbuffet dans les chapeaux de fête (niveau trois), chacun avec des chances brillantes accrues. Pokémon sur le thème apparaîtra également dans les tâches de recherche sur le terrain et les vitrines de Pokéstop.
