FortiToken Mobile is a mobile application generating One-Time Passwords (OTPs) for enhanced security using Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). This OATH-compliant app supports both event-based and time-based OTP generation. It's a crucial component of Fortinet's robust, user-friendly, and cost-effective MFA solution. Note that a FortiOS, FortiAuthenticator, or FortiToken Cloud server is required for OTP validation.

Privacy and Security Assurances:

Rest assured, FortiToken Mobile respects your privacy. It cannot access or modify sensitive phone functions without your explicit consent. This includes:

• No unauthorized changes to phone settings.
• No access to camera, microphone, or other recording capabilities.
• No access to email, browsing history, or other personal data.
• No remote wiping capabilities.

The app only requires access to:

• Your OS version (for compatibility checks).
• Your camera (for QR code scanning during token activation).
• TouchID/FaceID (for optional app security).
• Internet access (for token activation and push notifications).
• Email access (only to pre-fill the "Sender" field when sending feedback).
• Internal file sharing (to attach files when sending feedback).
• The ability to prevent the phone from sleeping during database updates (to prevent data corruption).
