Game Introduction

Canfield Solitaire is a beloved classic in the world of card games, known for its engaging gameplay and strategic depth. The objective of Canfield Solitaire is to successfully arrange all 52 cards into the four foundation piles. These foundations are built up in order according to suit and rank, beginning with the initial rank dealt at the start of the game. The sequence wraps from King back to Ace if necessary, allowing for continuous play.

In Canfield Solitaire, you have the flexibility to move cards between tableau piles. You can transfer either the top card or a sequence of cards from one tableau pile to another. This move is valid if the top card of the receiving pile is one rank higher than the card being moved, or if the card being moved is a King being placed on an Ace, and the colors of the cards must differ. Additionally, if both the Reserve pile and a tableau pile are empty, you can place any card you're able to move onto that empty space.

To keep the game flowing, you can click on the stock pile located in the top left corner to deal new cards, refreshing your options and advancing your strategy. With these rules in mind, Canfield Solitaire offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for players of all skill levels.
