Artist's Eye is a utility designed to assist you in drawing or painting with a real pen or pencil onto paper or canvas.

Select a model picture, such as a photo. While you draw, watch your work in progress through your phone or tablet's camera.

The model will appear semi-transparent over your ongoing drawing, helping you outline contours. This method is somewhat similar to the camera lucida, used for hundreds of years ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camera_lucida ).

For best results, attach your phone to a support stand so it remains still, leaving both your hands free to create.
