On January 5, 2025, YouTuber Doctre81 ignited speculation about Gotham Knights' arrival on the Switch 2. The source? A game developer's resume showcasing work on Gotham Knights for two currently unannounced platforms.

This developer, employed by QLOC from 2018 to 2023, listed various titles including Mortal Kombat 11 and Tales of Vesperia. The intriguing detail? Gotham Knights is listed, explicitly noted as being developed for two unreleased consoles.

Crucially, neither Warner Bros. Games nor Nintendo have officially confirmed this. Treat this information cautiously. However, the Nintendo Switch 2 remains the most likely candidate for this mystery platform.

A Past ESRB Rating, Then Silence

Initially released in October 2022 for PS5, Windows, and Xbox Series X, Gotham Knights briefly appeared destined for the original Switch following an ESRB rating. Anticipation mounted, with some predicting a Nintendo Direct reveal.
