De Game Awards 2024: een blik op de genomineerden

Geoff Keighley's The Game Awards 2024 heeft de genomineerden in 19 categorieën bekendgemaakt, met als hoogtepunt de felbegeerde Game of the Year (GOTY)-prijs. De kanshebbers van dit jaar vertegenwoordigen een breed scala aan titels, die de breedte en creativiteit binnen de game-industrie laten zien.

De GOTY-race is bijzonder hevig, met zware spelers als Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (leidend met in totaal 7 nominaties) die strijden tegen de veelgeprezen Astro Bot, indie-sensatie Balatro, de visueel verbluffende Black Myth: Wukong, de langverwachte Metafoor: ReFantazio en de controversiële uitbreiding Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.

Het stemmen is nu geopend! Breng tot 11 december uw stem uit op uw favorieten op de officiële website van The Game Awards en de Discord-server.

De winnaars worden op 12 december 2024 bekend gemaakt tijdens een live ceremonie in het Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles. Het evenement wordt wereldwijd gestreamd op verschillende platforms, waaronder Twitch, TikTok, YouTube en de officiële Game Awards-website.
