Obwohl der Missbrauch in Ubisoft selbst nicht auftrat, verurteilt das Unternehmen solche Maßnahmen nachdrücklich. In dem Video wird behauptet, dass Kwan Cherry Lai, Kommissar des Brandoville -Entwicklungsteams (und Ehefrau des CEO), ein Muster missbräuchlicher Verhalten gegenüber Mitarbeitern, einschließlich Christa Sydney, verwickelt hat. Zu den Vorwürfen gehören geistiger und körperlicher Missbrauch, erzwungene religiöse Praktiken, schwerer Schlafentzug und Zwang in die Selbstverletzung.
