Squares: Master the Daily Word Strand Puzzle! This game challenges you to build words and conquer squares on a grid. The goal? Maximize your score by finding as many words as possible.

How to Play:

Connect letters in any direction – up, down, left, right, or diagonally – to create words. Find all the words hidden within the letter grid to rack up the points.

Game Rules:

• Scoring: Each letter in a word earns you one point (e.g., a five-letter word scores five points).
• Word Length: Words must be at least four letters long.
• Letter Usage: Each tile can only be used once per word.
• Excluded Words: Hyphenated words, proper nouns, offensive language, and uncommon terms are not included in the main word list.

Bonus Words & Challenges:

• Bonus Words: Discover obscure, archaic, or slang terms for extra fun. These don't add to your score but appear in a separate list. You can hunt for these even after completing the main word puzzle.
• Word of the Day: Each puzzle includes a special, often longer bonus word. Finding it rewards you with two extra hints!

Gameplay Features:

• Daily Puzzle: A new Squares puzzle is available every day at midnight.
• Grid Rotation: Rotate the grid left or right for a fresh perspective and to potentially uncover hidden words.
• Hints: After finding 40% of the words, a hint system activates, showing how many words begin with each letter (a number next to each letter). An orange letter indicates it's no longer used in main words, but may be in bonus words.
• Hint System: Each puzzle offers 3-5 hints (lightbulb icon) revealing a random word's first letter and search direction. Hint quantity varies by puzzle difficulty. Sharing the game link with friends earns you an extra hint!
